Validity of joining a military pact when the individual's skill level is unknown or inadequate.

Book of Racing and Archery
Primary text
If two groups enter into an alliance, and a person unknown to them joins one group, the contract is valid if that person is skilled in archery. If the person is not skilled in archery, the contract regarding that person becomes void, and another person from the opposing group is removed to stand opposite him. This is based on the principle that each combatant is positioned against another, or one leader selects one opponent while the other leader selects another in opposition.
Supporting text
The validity concerning the remaining members is subject to two interpretations stemming from the issue of severing the deal. If the deal is not considered void for the rest, then each group retains the option (of withdrawal) because the deal is partially broken regarding them.
