Is the husband's claim of reconciliation during the iddah accepted if the wife denies it after the iddah has expired?

If the husband claims reconciliation occurred during the iddah, but the wife denies it after the iddah has ended, the wife's statement is accepted by consensus. This is because the husband is claiming something in a time period where he no longer possessed the right of reconciliation, and the default ruling is non-existence of the reconciliation and the establishment of final separation (baynunah).
