Primary text
The revocation is valid if the husband states he revoked due to love or insult, as he both performed the act of revocation and stated its cause. This applies if he says, "I revoked you due to my love for you," or "my insult to you." If he states something like, "I intended that I had insulted you or loved you, and I have returned you by my parting to that state," the revocation is not valid.
