The established position attributed to Ahmad is that uncovering the private parts of the divorced wife and looking at them does not constitute revocation.

One view, reported by Ibn Hamid, suggests it is a valid revocation based on the principle that it is an enjoyment permissible through the marital relationship, similar to sexual intercourse. Another view suggests it is not a revocation because it does not necessitate an 'iddah or a mahr, paralleling mere looking.
