Primary text
Each owner has the right to dispose of their exclusive portion of the stream as they desire, including directing other water through it, building a water-mill (raḥā), installing a water-wheel (dulāb), erecting a bridge structure (ʿibārah) spanning the river, or constructing a small aqueduct (qanṭarah) over which water flows. This is because the exclusive share is their private property, and no one else holds a right over it.
