Is an owner permitted to run their own water, or the water of another, alongside their share during their allotted time?

Primary text
If the owner whose turn it is desires to run their own water alongside their allotted share to irrigate land that *does* have an established right to water from that river, or another piece of their land, this is allowed. Likewise, if someone requests permission to run their water alongside the owner's share to share the benefit elsewhere, this is permissible according to a derived opinion of our associates, provided it does not harm the river or any other party. This is reasoned analogously to permitting someone who has rented land to run water through a pre-existing channel on it, as the user is entitled to the benefit of the water flow during their allotted time, similar to leasing for that purpose.
