Chapter on Selling Assets and Fruits
Al-Mughni
Book of Sales
Primary text
If fruit is sold before the beginning of its ripeness, the sale is invalid unless conditional upon immediate harvesting. If the sale occurs after the beginning of ripeness, it is valid absolutely, or conditional upon harvesting, or conditional upon leaving it on the tree, consistent with the ruling for tree fruits.
