Chapter on the Option of the Two Parties in Sale
Al-Mughni

Primary text
If the transaction is ruled valid, the sight of essential features intended for the sale must be verified, such as the interior of a garment or the hair of a female slave. If an item is sold folded or if it is present but not observable in the aspects that affect the price, the ruling reverts to that of selling an absent item (Bay' al-Gha'ib).
