What evidence from the Sunnah prohibits Riba?

The prohibition is supported by the Prophet's declaration listing the seven destructive sins (al-Sab' al-Mūbiqāt), which includes consuming Riba. Furthermore, the Prophet, peace be upon him, cursed the consumer of Riba, the one who pays it, its witnesses, and its scribe. These are established via agreed-upon reports (Muttafaq 'alayhima).
