Primary text
A forward sale contract for a textile woven from mixed yarns, such as silk and cotton, or cotton and linen, or wool, is permissible, provided the composition of the warp (suda) and weft (lahmah) is precisely defined, for instance, stating the warp is silk and the weft is linen. Similarly, this allows for the validity of a forward sale for Khazz (a mixed fabric), which is composed of two different yarns.
