Primary text
If the dissolution is established automatically upon the initial impossibility of delivery, the contract dissolves only regarding the missing portion, as a defect arising in part of the contracted item does not necessitate the nullification of the whole. The buyer retains the option to dissolve the contract concerning the existing portion, as established in the primary view.
