Primary text
It is permissible for a city dweller to advise a Bedouin concerning a transaction, provided the city dweller does not directly execute the sale with the Bedouin. This view is endorsed by Talha ibn Ubaydullah, Al-Awza'i, and Ibn al-Mundhir. The statement of a Companion (Sahabi) serves as evidence unless contrary evidence is established.
