It is permissible for the guardian to purchase real estate for the orphan because it constitutes a benefit for the minor, as it secures the surplus value while preserving the principal asset. Furthermore, the element of risk (*gharar*) associated with real estate is less than that of commercial trade, as the principal asset remains secure.
