Is the option established in unilateral binding contracts like pledging (rahn)?
Chapter on the Option of the Two Parties in Sale

Primary text
In a contract binding on one party only, such as pledging (binding on the pledgor, permissible for the pledgee), no option is established. The pledgee dispenses with the option due to the permissibility in their regard, and the pledgor dispenses with it because permissibility extends until possession. Similarly, guarantors and sureties have no option because they enter voluntarily, accepting potential loss. The same applies to a contracted slave seeking freedom (mukattab).
