What are the permissible conditions for exchanging milk of different kinds?

It is permissible to exchange milk of different species, allowing for disparity in measure, provided the exchange is immediate (hand to hand). If exchanged with milk of the same species, it must be done equally by measure (kail). Al-Qadi asserts that milk is measured (makil) and must be sold by measure due to established custom.
