Primary text
Imam Ahmad strongly refuted the notion that minor transactional requests, such as asking someone to hand over a cloth after discovering a defect in a purchased slave, nullify the right of option. He questioned the origin of such an opinion, asserting that such minor requests do not constitute the type of acceptance that warrants invalidation.
