If the buyer finds the item to be contrary to the stated description, he possesses the option to rescind the contract, which is termed the 'option of discrepancy in specification' (Khiyar al-Khalaf fi al-Sifah). The sale is not binding because the stipulated quality was not found, similar to the ruling in a contract of Salam.
