Primary text
If they disagree on the quality (*ṣifah*) of the commodity, the buyer's word is taken with his oath, because the buyer is the guarantor (*ghārim*), and the word of the guarantor is accepted.

If they disagree on the value (*qīmah*) of the commodity, they revert to the value of an identical, described item. It is suggested that if the commodity's value equals the price claimed by the buyer, only the buyer's oath is taken, and rescission is unnecessary as the outcome is already achieved by affirming the buyer's claim.
