Primary text

The ruling for Persian reeds is analogous to the ruling for fruit. The stems themselves belong to the seller as they are treated like fruit. The roots, however, belong to the buyer because they are left in the ground for the land to remain standing. If even the visible part of the reed is absent, the entirety belongs to the buyer, as the hidden roots are stipulated for the buyer.
