What is the ruling when a lender demands the return of a loaned currency or an item not requiring carriage expense in a different location?
Chapter on Loan (Qard)

Book of Sales
Primary text
If the loan consists of currency (*uthman*) or an item whose delivery requires no expense, and the lender demands its return while both parties are in another location, the borrower is obligated to deliver it in that location. This is because the act of delivery in that place is the same as delivery in the place where the loan was made.
