Chapter on Selling the Musarrah (Animal with milk retained in udder)
Al-Mughni
Book of Sales
Primary text
If the ruling permits the return due to the original defect despite the new one, the buyer must compensate for the value of the newly occurred defect because the entire sold item is guaranteed by him. However, if the defect occurring with the buyer subsequently disappears, he may return the item without any compensation for that defect, based on both narrations.
