What is the ruling on minor, unavoidable differences in added, non-intended components during exchange?

Primary text
An excess of added elements like salt or water that are not intended components but result from preparation (like in bread) is permissible if the difference is minor and unavoidable, resembling the allowance made when exchanging new grain for old grain. This concession is granted because these additions are not the primary purpose and are analogous to salt added to sesame oil (shirj).
