What is the ruling if the option is stipulated for a month, where it is effective on some days but not others?
Chapter on the Option of the Two Parties in Sale

Primary text
If the option is stipulated for a month, being effective on some days and not others, Ibn 'Aqil suggested that the stipulation is valid only for the first day because it is possible, but void for the subsequent days. This is because if the option becomes binding on the second day, it cannot revert to being optional. An alternative view is that the entire condition is void because it is a single condition encompassing multiple days, and if it fails for some days, the whole condition fails, similar to stipulating the option until harvest time.
