What is the ruling if the seller claims they were insane (majnun) when entering the contract?

If the seller claims insanity, and no known period of insanity is established for them, the statement of the buyer is accepted because the default state is sanity. If it is established that the seller was insane, the ruling is the same as that for a minor.
