The Prophet, peace be upon him, prohibited the sale of *al-Majarr*. This prohibition is narrated via Ibn 'Umar.
Supporting text
Ibn al-A'rabi offered multiple interpretations for *al-Majarr*, stating it refers to what is in the she-animal's womb, or it means usury (*ribā*), or gambling (*qimār*), or it is synonymous with *al-Muhāqalah* and *al-Muzābanah*.
