What is the ruling on selling real estate if the proceeds cannot be justly reinvested?

If the real estate is sold, but its price cannot be spent on an equivalent asset, resulting in the price being lost or unblessed, the sale is impermissible. This is based on the tradition stating that blessings are removed from the price of real estate not reinvested in similar property.
