If the purchaser stipulates that the seller must fashion the leather into sandals (*Na'l*), the description and quality of the resulting sandal must be known to both parties, mirroring the requirements for an initial hiring contract for that specific work.

Imam Ahmad ruled that a man purchasing leather on the condition that the seller makes it into sandals is permissible, provided the buyer intends to enter into a partnership (*Shiraak*) regarding the resulting sandals.
