Ibn Aqil preferred the view that if the seller states, 'I sold you this land with its rights' (bi huquqiha), then the crops and their associated elements are included in the sale. If the phrase 'with its rights' is omitted, there are two differing views regarding whether the crops are included, similar to the ruling concerning trees.
