A settlement concerning a claimed crop (*zar'*) in exchange for compensation is valid if the terms are valid in a sale (*bay'*) transaction, and invalid if the terms would invalidate a sale. This ruling applies whether the subject is a pre-existing claim of a crop or a dispute settled via this method.
