Primary text
When contracting for wood intended for construction, its type, dryness or wetness, length, circumference (or thickness), and width must be specified. The seller is obligated to deliver the wood extending from one end to the other with the specified width and circumference. If one end is thicker than specified, it is considered an added benefit, but if it is thinner, the buyer is not obligated to accept it. Specifying the weight is permissible if mutually agreed upon; otherwise, omitting the weight specification is permissible. The wood delivered must be free from knots, as knots constitute a defect.
