Must a sword and its adornment (like a belt) be separated before being sold when the adornment is of the same genus as the medium of exchange?

It is required that the sword and its adornment be separated before exchange. When asked about buying a sword and belt, Ahmad stated they must be separated. This prohibition is applied strictly by those who adhere to the literal understanding concerning the adornment.
