The transaction of a non-discerning minor is invalid, even if the guardian grants permission for it, with the sole exception being trivial matters. This exception is supported by the narration from Abu al-Darda', who purchased a bird from a minor boy and then released it, as mentioned by Ibn Abi Musa.
