Primary text
If reconciliation is established for accidental killing or damage compensation using a genus different from the prescribed Diyah or value, even if the compensation received is of greater value, it is valid. This is permissible because it is treated as a sale transaction, and it is permissible in a sale to buy an item for more or less than its intrinsic value.
