Is a settlement (Sulh) over a crop (Zar') valid when the owner confesses to the claim?

If a claimant alleges ownership of a crop held by a man, and the holder confesses to that claim, then a subsequent settlement (Sulh) over the crop for a sum of dirhams is valid, provided the settlement is valid on the same basis as the sale of that crop. This validity has been previously established regarding sales.
