Primary text

If the owner specifies a term where the fruit typically ripens, and the worker fails to complete the work that year, the worker receives nothing. This is because the contract was valid, but the stipulated growth/yield, which was the basis for his share, did not materialize, similar to an unprofiting *Muḍārabah*.

Supporting text

If the fruit appears but is immature, the worker is entitled to his stipulated share and must complete the remaining work, analogous to a situation where the contract was dissolved before maturity.
