What is the ruling when a worker becomes completely unable to perform their work?

Primary text
If a worker becomes entirely incapable of performing the work, a substitute is appointed in their place to carry out the labor. The wages or cost for this substitute work falls upon the original worker in both cases of partial and total incapacity, as the responsibility to complete the work remains with the original worker, and securing a substitute is part of fulfilling that obligation.
