What is the ruling when a master frees a slave through tadbir (post-manumission) valued at one hundred, and the master also owes the slave one hundred in debt?

One third of the slave is freed (*'itq*), one third remains in servitude (*'urq*), and one third is suspended (*waqf*) pending fulfillment of the remaining debt obligation. This ruling is established for the status of the *mudabbar* (the slave subject to post-manumission).
