What is the ruling if a *mudabbar* who is a *Musta'man* (non-Muslim under temporary safe conduct) is intended by his master to be returned to the *Dar al-Harb* (Abode of War)?

If the *mudabbar* is a *Musta'man* and his master intends to return him to the *Dar al-Harb* while the slave has not converted to Islam, the master is not prevented from doing so. However, if the slave has converted to Islam, the master is prevented, because restraints are placed upon the master's power over him within the *Dar al-Islam* (Abode of Islam), which mandates prevention of the master enabling this control in the *Dar al-Harb*.
