What is the ruling on games involving gambling (Qimar)?

Any game that involves gambling, regardless of its type, is forbidden (muharram). This activity constitutes Maysir (gambling) which Allah has commanded avoidance of. If a person repeatedly engages in such activity, their testimony is rejected. The primary evidence is the command to avoid Maysir, which is classified with prohibitions in the Quran (Quran 5:90).
