There is no distinction regarding the acceptance of testimony and the oath (yamin) based on whether the claimant (mudda'i) is a Muslim or an infidel (kafir), just, or immoral (fasıq), or male or female. Ahmad declared this explicitly because the ruling concerning the one upon whom the oath is legislated does not differ based on these characteristics, similar to the case of the denier when there is no evidence (bayyinah).
