Primary text
If the penalty or right has already been fully executed after the judgment, subsequent discovery of the witness’s transgression or apostasy has no effect. This is because the execution was based on a ruling whose foundation appeared sound, and the Law permitted its execution. What transpires afterward does not invalidate the completed execution, just as if no such subsequent event had appeared.
