Primary text

The testimony is accepted if a partner testifies for their partner concerning matters not related to their partnership, or if an agent testifies for their principal concerning matters outside the agency, or if an enemy testifies for their enemy, or if an heir testifies for the deceased regarding property, or regarding a wound after it has healed, or if one of two claimants of preemption (shuf'a) testifies to the other forfeiting their right after they had already done so, or if one of two executors testifies to the other forfeiting their executorship over a matter where one executorship does not impede the other, and similar cases where there is no suspicion. This is because the basis for accepting testimony is present, and the impediment is absent, thus acceptance is necessitated by adhering to the established principle.
