The testimony of a maternal uncle and his son is more deserving of permissibility. Similarly, the testimony of a paternal uncle and his son, and all other relatives, are also more readily permitted. If the testimony of a brother is permissible despite his closeness, this indicates by necessary implication that the testimony of those more distantly related is permissible.
