Is the testimony of a slave accepted on behalf of his master?
General Chapter

Book of Testimonies
Primary text
The testimony of a slave for his master is not accepted because the slave typically manages, uses, and benefits from the master's wealth, and the master is obligated to provide the slave's maintenance. Furthermore, the slave is not subject to punishment for theft committed against the master's property. Therefore, the slave's testimony is rejected, similar to the case of a son testifying for his father.
