What is the effect of the buyer alone admitting the usurpation of the sold slave?
General Chapter
Al-Mughni
Book of Usurpation
Primary text
If only the buyer admits the usurpation, the buyer is obligated to return the slave, but this admission is not accepted against the seller. The buyer cannot reclaim the purchase price if the seller already received it, but the buyer must deliver the price to the seller if the seller had not yet received it.
Supporting text
If the buyer establishes proof for their admission, the admission is accepted, and the buyer has the right to reclaim the purchase price from the seller.
