The compensation for the usufruct value belongs to the rightful owner of the dwelling, as it is the compensation for the use of property owned by the owner. The usurper does not possess ownership over this compensation, similar to how the usurper does not own compensation for the parts (of the property).

It is reported from Abu Hanifah that the usufruct compensation belongs to the usurper, not the owner of the house, but this opinion is deemed incorrect.
