What is the liability when a usurped item that possessed inherent quality (like being well-fed or skilled) subsequently loses that quality?

Primary text
If an item was usurped while well-fed or possessing a skill, and subsequently loses value because it became thin (hazalat) or forgot the skill, the usurper must guarantee the loss in value. There is no known disagreement on this, as the reduction stems from a change from the state at the time of usurpation that affected its worth, necessitating compensation, similar to the loss of a limb.
