What is the ruling on removing a usurped thread used to stitch the wound of an edible animal belonging to another person?
General Chapter
Al-Mughni
Book of Usurpation
Primary text
If a usurped thread is used to stitch the wound of an edible animal owned by someone other than the usurper, removal is not required if it risks harming the animal. Harm is not rectified by inflicting harm, nor is the property of an innocent person destroyed to preserve another's property.
