Primary text

If a usurped thread is used to stitch the wound of a respected animal whose meat is unlawful to eat, such as a human or non-food animals like mules and donkeys, removal is not obligatory if its removal risks the animal's death or significantly delays healing. This is because the sanctity of the animal's life takes precedence over the value of the property, allowing the preservation of life even by using another's property or destroying property for preservation.
