What is the ruling if the taken soil is turned into bricks or pottery?

If the soil is converted into bricks or pottery, the usurper is obligated to return them. The usurper is not entitled to compensation for their labor. The owner is not permitted to force the destruction of these finished goods because that action constitutes foolishness which yields no benefit, is destruction of wealth, and is wastefulness. The Prophet, peace be upon him, prohibited the waste of wealth.
